The college basketball season began on Monday with games throughout the day, as the path to March Madness kicks off for everyone. However, one particular game riled up social media during the afternoon.
St. Bonaventure's contest against Bradley isn't exactly a big-name matchup but it does feature former ESPN NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski's team opening its season. During the game, it was Woj himself who went viral for reportedly being ejected from the game for arguing with the officials.
Upon further review, though, that report had quite a few holes in it, leading to questions of whether it actually occurred. Here's a fact check on whether Wojnarowski was actually ejected from the stands.

Was Adrian Wojnarowski ejected?
As St. Bonaventure opened its basketball season on Monday afternoon against Bradley, one social media account posted that Wojnarowski was getting into it with the officials. First, the account posted that "Woj" was "letting the officials hear it" during the game, before reporting that Wojnarowski was ultimately ejected from the game.
St. Bonaventure GM Adrian “Woj” Wojnarowski has been letting the officials hear it early here at the Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

The Bonnies lead Bradley 10-6 at the under-12 media timeout.
After a heated verbal altercation with the officiating crew, St. Bonaventure GM Adrian “Woj” Wojnarowski was just ejected from the venue. Wojnarowski was berating the officials from the stands and was forcibly removed by security. A stunning scene here at the Field of 68 event.

Since this game was being broadcast on YouTube as part of “The Field of 68 Opening Day Marathon,” there were not many eyes on the game, so many fans went with the belief that the report was true.
However, it appears that this was a fake report, as "Woj" was still present in the stands after the post.
Got multiple texts about this at half. Can confirm Woj is good😂

Wojnarowski isn't really believed to be a fiery person, which makes the "report" that more unusual, or enticing, depending on the viewpoint. The former ESPN insider serves as the general manager for St. Bonaventure's basketball program, which means he doesn't typically get involved during games, so this kind of ejection would be uncharacteristic of Wojnarowski.
Jeff Goodman, co-founder of Field of 68, confirmed that the report was false.
I asked Field of 68 co-founder @GoodmanHoops if this really happened.
— Ryan Glasspiegel (@sportsrapport) November 3, 2025
"No. Of course not," Goodman told @FOS. "He has been sitting behind their bench and hasn't spoken a word to an official the entire game." Https://t.co/LTj0vj0wwu
