Clippers' James Harden passes Carmelo Anthony on historic NBA record list image

James Harden has done it his own way.

And his own way has the Los Angeles Clippers ranking among the best scorers in the history of the NBA.

On Saturday, Harden officially moved into No. 10 all time in points in league history.

Harden moved past Carmelo Anthony, bumping him down to the 11th spot.

The lefty has now scored more than 28,000 points.

Here's the whole top-10:

It's been quite the rise for Harden.

He entered the NBA as a highly touted draft pick but had a sixth-man role for the Oklahoma City Thunder.

He didn't break out totally until he was acquired by the Houston Rockets, who let Harden be a dynamic lead guard with a nasty stepback jumper and an uncanny ability to get to the foul line.

Harden has been a great distributor in his NBA career, too. He really can do it all on the offensive end.

It's really remarkable to get Harden all the way up to 10th all-time in scoring. He's there among some of the best players in NBA history. Harden's name will go down in history, too.
