The Toronto Blue Jays are back in the World Series for the first time since 1993.
The Blue Jays had a historic regular season, winning the American League East division and finishing with the best record in the AL.
Toronto beat the New York Yankees in the ALDS and came from behind to beat the Seattle Mariners in seven games in the ALCS. Now, the Blue Jays will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series, and they'll get a key piece back on the roster.
Blue Jays reveal World Series roster
The Blue Jays revealed their World Series roster on Friday morning, and star shortstop Bo Bichette is on it. Here's the full break down of Toronto's roster.
Pitchers:
- Chris Bassitt
- Shane Bieber
- Seranthony Domínguez
- Braydon Fisher
- Mason Fluharty
- Kevin Gausman
- Jeff Hoffman
- Eric Lauer
- Brendon Little
- Max Scherzer
- Louis Varland
- Trey Yesavage
The Blue Jays will once again carry six starting pitcher to provide some extra length out of the bullpen. Both Bieber and Scherzer played big roles in the ALCS, and the veterans will likely earn another chance to do so in the World Series.

Yesavage will start at least twice in the World Series as a rookie, and will be the Game 1 starter.
Catchers:
- Tyler Heineman
- Alejandro Kirk
Infielders:
- Addison Barger
- Bo Bichette
- Ernie Clement
- Ty France
- André Giménez
- Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
- Isiah Kiner-Falefa
Outfielders:
- Nathan Lukes
- Davis Schneider
- George Springer
- Myles Straw
- Daulton Varsho
The big difference with the position players is the addition of Bichette. The Blue Jays' star shortstop has not played since early September, and was held off both the ALDS and ALCS rosters.
However, the Blue Jays have deemed him healthy enough to play in the World Series, and Bichette said he's ready.
The Blue Jays' star can play second base, shortstop or DH, whichever works best for Bichette as he comes back from injury. But, the Blue Jays will have his bat back in the lineup for the biggest series of the year.
The Blue Jays and Dodgers will get the World Series started with Game 1 on Friday night at 8 p.m. In Toronto. The Blue Jays will have Yesavage on the mound and the Dodgers will start Blake Snell.
