Glenville vs. Indian Valley final score, results: Updates, highlights from OHSAA D-IV state semifinal game image

It was the instant classic everyone wanted.

It didn't seem that way at first when Glenville opened up a 20-pooint lead on Indian Valley.

But then IV scored 21 unanswered, and it was game on.

In the end, the Tarblooders had one more score and one final stop, and that was good enough: Glenville 26, Indian Valley 21.

The defending OHSAA Division IV state champions have been eliminated.

The 2022 and 2023 state champions avenge their state semifinal loss last season to Sandusky Perkins and will advance to the D-IV state championship game, where they will meet the Shelby Whippets.

This snapped a 28-game win streak for Indian Valley, and it ended the prodigious high school career of the legendary Grady Kinsey. He ends his IV tenure with 138 career touchdowns, an OHSAA record.

Glenville and Shelby will meet at 10:30 a.m. In a week, on Friday, in Canton, for all the marbles.
