Javon Freeman-Liberty has parted ways with the Brisbane Bullets, bringing an early end to his stint with the NBL side.
Both the player and the club agreed to a mutual release, with the club citing a hamstring injury and a need for Freeman-Liberty to return home to "focus on his mental wellbeing".
"The wellbeing of our players always comes first and we are fully supportive of this outcome," Bullets CEO Mal Watts said.
"We are grateful for Javon's contribution to the club and wish him all the best."

The American guard joined the Bullets in the offseason with the hope of making a strong impact in the backcourt.
Freeman-Liberty showcased his scoring ability and based on his early form looked like he could have had a huge impact on the 2025 NBL season.

The Chicago native played two games for the Bullets where he averaged an impressive 19 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game.
The 25-year-old had previously made his mark overseas and in the NBA G League, earning recognition for his athleticism and versatility on both ends of the court.
Bullets management will now reassess their roster and consider potential replacements, with the loss of Freeman-Liberty a significant blow.
The team will need to lean heavily on stars Jaylen Adams, Casey Prather, and Tyrell Harrison to shoulder the load while a replacement is found.
There is little doubt that search is already underway as the Bullets sit near the bottom of the NBL ladder, with just one win from four matches so far.
