When the Ron-Dog comes out’: Ronaldo Mulitalo challenges William Warbrick ahead of preliminary final image

There’s muscle, speed, height and power on every edge in the NRL’s finals week.

In contrast to all that brawn, though, Cronulla Sharks winger Ronaldo Mulitalo says what truly counts isn’t measured.

Mulitalo has an alter ego for this matchup against the Melbourne Storm winger.

When the Sharks winger talks about ‘Ron-Dog,’ he’s referring to that relentless spirit: the kind that’s under-estimated, not always favoured by the pundits, refusing to back down.

It’s that grit, he believes, that will make the difference when the Sharks take on Melbourne Storm for a spot in the Grand Final.

Ronaldo Mulitalo spoke about his matchup with Melbourne Storm winger William Warbrick, and had some fiery words about the matchup.

“All these guys got the big muscles and all the attributes. But when the Ron-Dog comes out, skinny and scrawny but got the biggest heart, that’s all you need,” Mulitalo said on Triple M.

Cronulla has had its fair share of doubters this season, especially in finals footy.

While facing the criticism from the media, they have also had internal struggles and needed to have honest talks throughout the season in order to save their season.

On Friday night, we’ll see if ‘Ron-Dog’ is enough, when the Cronulla Sharks take on the Melbourne Storm on Friday night.
