The 2025 NRL season's Round 26 clash on Sunday afternoon will see the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks take on the Newcastle Knights at the Sharks Stadium in Sydney.

The Sharks are pushing for a top-four finish coming off a bye week. With two games left, their hopes are still alive. They are currently sitting in sixth, two points behind the fourth-placed Warriors and tied on 32 points with the fifth-placed Broncos.

Before the bye, Cronulla beat the Titans 54-22 at home and return back to the Sharks stadium where they have won nine out of the eleven games this season.

Meanwhile, the Knights are bottom-two on the points ladder and have been through a rough season. They are on a seven-game losing streak including a 46-12 defeat against the Broncos.

The Knights now visit the Sharks stadium where they have not won since 2014. Moreover, Newcastle have also lost in five of the last six meetings with the Cronulla.
