Rabbitohs respond after Tyrone Munro charged over alleged domestic violence incident image

The Rabbitohs have confirmed winger Tyrone Munro has been charged by police in relation to an allegation of domestic violence.

Munro, 20, was taken to Auburn Police Station and charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (domestic), stalk/intimidate intend fear physical etc harm (domestic), common assault (domestic).

The charges stem from an alleged incident in Homebush in April this year, with a 24-year-old women reporting the matter to police on Monday.

Munro has been granted conditional bail to appear in Burwood Local Court on Thursday, 30 October 2025.

In a statement on Tuesday, South Sydney confirmed the NRL Integrity Unit had been made aware of the situation.

"The South Sydney Rabbitohs are aware of an alleged incident and subsequent police charges against player Tyrone Munro," the club statement read.

"The club has informed the NRL Integrity Unit about the alleged incident and the charges.

The Rabbitohs take all allegations of domestic violence very seriously and will take appropriate action if the allegations and charges are proven.

"As this is a police matter, the Rabbitohs will be making no further comment at this stage."

Munro made his first-grade debut in 2023, going on to play 19 times at the level.
