The Gold Coast Titans have announced Josh Hannay as their new head coach, set to lead the club from the 2026 season.
Hannay, 45, is highly regarded in coaching circles, having assisted Queensland in three of the past four State of Origin series wins.
Currently an assistant at the Cronulla Sharks, Hannay has been part of a system that has played finals football in every year since 2021.

Titans chief executive Steve Mitchell praised Hannay's vision and leadership in a statement released by the club.
"Josh is one of the best young minds in the game," he said.
"After 10 years in the NRL as a player, Josh has built a body of work as an assistant coach that has him ready to be successful with a team of his own.
"He is highly regarded with players and staff who have worked with him across his coaching roles to date.
"Josh is excited by our squad, having worked with a number of our players through his time with the Queensland Origin and Emerging Origin camps."
Hannay's tenure will begin after Cronulla's 2025 finals campaign, signing a three-year deal with the Titans.
Previously, Hannay served as an interim coach for both the Cowboys and the Sharks.
The announcement follows Des Hasler's sacking after two seasons, finishing with just 13 wins from his 46 games in charge.
Hasler will see out the rest of the season before Hannay officially takes over, signalling a new era for the Titans club.
Scott Sattler will return to the club, with his new role as director of football. He will be a key figure in the Titans rebuild.
Elsewhere on the staff, Anthony Laffranchi has been hired as the head of recruitment, joining the other former NRL players in the front office.
