Reagan Campbell-Gillard has hit back at suggestions his time with the Gold Coast Titans could be cut short, calling reports of an impending move abroad “false information”.
The veteran forward’s future came under the spotlight as the club undergoes significant roster changes under new coach Josh Hannay.
The 31-year-old was even linked to a potential deal with Super League heavyweights St Helens for 2026, alongside talk that the Titans were ready to part ways with senior figures such as David Fifita, Brian Kelly and Phillip Sami.

‘That’s completely false’
“There's some false information or false accusations that I am leaving to go overseas,” Campbell-Gillard told SEN 1170 Sportsday. “It puts the individual and then the club in a different or a sticky situation where you have to have some meetings and clear the air and make sure it's not happening. I want to stay here for a while.”
He stressed his commitment to the Titans’ long-term vision, saying his motivation was unchanged. “I came here for a reason, and I came here to win, and I want to see this club have success, and I want to be a part of that. That was the main reason for coming up here,” he said.
“To see reports like that come out, that’s completely false. You have to clear the air and make sure that it's not coming from them, and it's definitely not coming from my end as well. I feel like I still have enough to offer in this competition. I don’t want to go just yet.”
Campbell-Gillard, who has pulled on the jerseys of both New South Wales and Australia, will reach his 245th NRL appearance in Round 27. He is under contract with the Titans until the end of 2027.
