Another gruelling pre-season is in the rear-view mirror and footy is finally about to return.
The first weekend of trials start on February 15, with two more weekends of hit-outs to follow leading into the season.
More than just warm-up games, positions in teams will be earned and lost based on the performances of individuals.
There's also the NRL All-Stars match and the World Club Challenge between the Sydney Roosters and Wigan Warriors to look forward to before the season officially starts on March 14.
