The Newcastle Knights have strengthened their junior ranks with the signing of playmaker Brooklyn Rosemeyer from the Sydney Roosters, as the club continues to reshape its roster for next season and beyond.
Having recently made his Under-21s Jersey Flegg Cup debut for the Roosters, Rosemeyer has signed a two-year deal to join the Knights, according to Newcastle Knights Juniors and Zero Tackle.
The Central Coast junior is expected to feature in the halves for the Newcastle Knights in next season’s Flegg Cup alongside halfback Ryder Williams, filling the gap left by Haami Loza’s departure to the Penrith Panthers.
Earlier this year, the teenager played a key role in the Roosters’ SG Ball Cup-winning squad, having progressed through the club’s Central Coast development pathway and previously featuring in the Laurie Daley Cup in 2024.

Rosemeyer was a local junior of the Terrigal Wamberal Sharks, highlighting his strong roots on the NSW Central Coast.
His move is part of a broader exodus of young talent from Bondi, with teammates Mikey Nassar (Bulldogs), Phillip Lavakeiaho (Rabbitohs), Tyson Walker (Cowboys), Baxter Warner (Bulldogs), and Cohen Dittmann (Cowboys) either already having departed or set to leave at the end of the season.
The young Roosters halfback is set to start in the halves for the Tricolours’ Jersey Flegg Cup side against the Knights, the club he is set to join next year, in their Round 25 clash on Sunday afternoon.
The Roosters’ Jersey Flegg Cup side is still fighting to reach the finals, currently sitting 10th on the ladder with just two rounds remaining.
