Round 27 is the final week of the NRL Fantasy season.
Most head to head leagues have concluded, while overall focused coaches are using their final trades.
That means it’s last-chance territory for coaches looking to lock in big scores and grab an edge.
Several stars are in line for huge performances with matchups, form and motivation all in their favour.
MORE: NRL Fantasy's Top Five Performances of Round 26
Payne Haas (Broncos v Storm)
Haas has been unstoppable in recent weeks, averaging 80 across his past three games.
The Brisbane prop has a season average of 73.7 and has crossed for two tries in his last two outings.
With the Storm missing Harry Grant and Stefano Utoikamanu, Haas could find even more joy through the middle.
A must-win game for the Broncos only adds to his appeal as a safe, high-ceiling captaincy option.
Daly Cherry-Evans (Sea Eagles v Warriors)
The Manly captain is winding down his career at Brookvale, and this will likely be his last game in front of the home faithful.
Cherry-Evans is coming off back-to-back 90-point games and is averaging 76 across his last three.
His season average of 52.3 has been blown out of the water by his late-season surge.
With Manly still chasing an outside shot at finals and the Warriors defence leaking points last week, DCE looks primed for another big score.
Keano Kini (Titans v Tigers)
Kini finally regains the No.1 jersey after weeks coming off the bench.
The Titans face the Tigers in what shapes as a high-scoring clash at home.
While his three-game average is just 9.7, he showed last year he can explode, posting three scores of 80+.
As a budget flyer with a ceiling, Kini looms as a boom-or-bust play for Round 27.
Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins v Raiders)
Farnworth hasn’t played since Round 22 when a hamstring injury cut short his night after 18 minutes - but he still scored 45 points.
Before that, the Dolphins centre was in red-hot form, averaging 63.2 for the season and 61 across his past three.
He’s been named on the extended bench and could return if the Dolphins’ finals hopes are alive.
A high-risk, high-reward option, Farnworth is one to watch for coaches with trades to spare.
Zac Lomax (Eels v Knights)
Lomax has cooled off in recent weeks with a three-game average of 40, but his upside remains.
The Parramatta centre comes up against Greg Marzhew and should enjoy a clear aerial advantage.
The Eels are finishing the season strongly, beating the Broncos, Roosters and Warriors in consecutive weeks.
As a one-week rental, Lomax offers budget coaches the chance at a late-season multi-try haul.
Honourable mentions
Nathan Cleary, Reece Walsh, James Tedesco, and Corey Horsburgh captaining an understrength Raiders side all deserve consideration.
