Dolphins enforcer Francis Molo is free to play in the 2025 Pacific Cup final on November 9.

Three players including Molo were charged following Sunday’s fiery Suncorp Stadium clash between Toa Samoa and Tonga XIII, with all receiving fines.

Molo was hit with a grade two careless high tackle charge for his second-minute hit on Tongan prop Stefano Utoikamanu.

Despite Utoikamanu being forced from the field and subsequently ruled out of the match following an HIA, Molo escaped with a 20% fine of his match fees—reduced to just 13% with an early plea.

Molo’s forward teammate Jazz Tevaga was charged with grade one contrary conduct offence as was Tongan fullback Lehi Hopoate.

Both players were fined 10% of their match fees, reduced to 7% with early pleas.

Toa Samoa will play New Zealand in the final on November 9 at CommBank Stadium—unless Tonga is able to defeat the Kiwis by 17 or more points in their week three clash at Eden Park in Auckland.

Stefano Utoikamanu is highly unlikely to be available due to concussion protocols, with his place set to be taken by Tongan legend Jason Taumalolo.
