Hull KR have secured one of the biggest signings in their history, with Mikey Lewis agreeing a new deal that will keep him at Craven Park until the end of 2030.
The contract contains no release clause, effectively silencing talk of a move to the NRL and cementing the 23-year-old as the cornerstone of Rovers’ future.
Lewis has already carved his name into the club’s modern story, playing a central role in Challenge Cup and League Leaders’ Shield triumphs this season. He is also in the running to retain the Steve Prescott MBE Man of Steel, underlining his rapid rise from academy prospect to one of Super League’s most influential talents.

“This place feels like home”
Speaking after putting pen to paper, Lewis said the decision was as much about belonging as ambition. “It’s a massive honour. This place feels like home for me. The way I’ve seen this club change since the day I started my first pre-season in 2018, it feels a long time ago. There’s been a massive turnaround at this club, and I want to continue to be a part of that journey.”
He added: “I feel like the East side of Hull have really brought me in as one of their own. The city and the club mean everything to me. I want to create my own legacy here at Hull KR and win trophies with the team I’ve got around me. I don’t see why we can’t do that and create our own legacy as a team.”
The Robins hailed the signing as a landmark moment not just for their ambitions, but for Super League more widely. In an era where Australia’s clubs continue to lure talent abroad, Hull KR have kept hold of their brightest star, and Lewis has made it clear he intends to leave his mark at home.
