The Catalans Dragons have signed Gold Coast Titans prop Iszac Fa'asuamaleaui on a two-year deal that will commence in 2026.
Brother of Origin star, Tino Fa'asuamaleaui, the 23-year-old has made a name for himself in the top-grade, with 25 NRL appearances under his belt to show for it.
Born in Gympie, Fa'asuamaleaui came through the Titans development pathways and was viewed as a valuable asset in the midst of the club's roster overhaul.
Now, he will take his talents to the English Super League, where he will join other notable former NRL stars in Reimis Smith, Nick Cotric, Tevita Pangai Junior, Tariq Sims, Elliott Whitehead and Bayley Sironen.
The Dragons, who have raided NRL rosters in the last few months by acquiring Toby Sexton from the Bulldogs and Solomona Faataape from the Tigers, have a clear vision for how they're trying to build the team.
Leading that charge is head coach Joel Tomkins, who shared his thoughts on the signing in a statement released by the club.
"I’m looking forward to welcoming Iszac and his young family to the Catalans Dragons," he said.
"I believe that he is coming into his prime years as a middle forward.
"I know he is fully committed to what we are trying to build at the club over the next couple of seasons and motivated to improve his game to reach his full potential."

What does Iszac's signing mean for Tino Fa'asuamaleaui?
Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has voiced concerns about the Titans direction as a club in recent weeks, wanting stability and clarity before he makes a decision on his future.
He is contracted until 2033 but has an exit clause that can be activated for the 2027 season. That clause opens the door for formal approaches from November 1, 2025.
Powerbrokers on the Gold Coast had Tino's family ties working in their favour, given that his younger brother was under contract.
Now that's no longer the case, it's possible that the Maroons star may no longer have the same motivation to dig in for the long-term rebuild the club is facing.
The prospect of a new franchise entering the competition in 2027, with a war chest reported to exceed $12 million, a fresh start could be on the cards for both Fa'asuamaleaui brothers.
