Wests Tigers have confirmed that NRLW head coach Brett Kimmorley will step away from his role at the conclusion of the 2025 NRLW season.
Kimmorley, who took charge in 2023 as the club’s first-ever NRLW coach, has been instrumental in building the elite women’s program and establishing strong player pathways within the club.
With his current contract expiring at season’s end, the former NSW Blues and Kangaroos halfback has opted not to seek an extension.
He will continue to lead the side through their final two regular season matches against the Parramatta Eels and New Zealand Warriors.

During his tenure, Kimmorley has introduced 50 players to the Wests Tigers NRLW system, awarding numerous players their professional debuts and helping to grow the women’s game at the club.
Kimmorley described the decision as a tough one but believes it is the right time to step away.
The Wests Tigers will soon launch a recruitment process to secure a new head coach ahead of the 2026 NRLW season.
