Brandon Smith's alleged text messages with Victor Radley have been revealed ahead of the Rabbitohs star's court case for allegedly supplying drugs.
Smith will face Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday, charged with unlawfully supplying a dangerous drug and using or disclosing inside knowledge for betting - and will plead not guilty to all charges.
Roosters forward Radley - who has been named in the police summons - has not been charged with any offences and The Sporting News is not suggesting he obtained or took any illegal drugs.
Allegations from Queensland Police detail that Smith helped Radley get in contact with an alleged drug dealer to purchase cocaine while the Roosters player was on a golf trip with six team-mates in June.

The police statement of facts, published by Code Sports, states the alleged drug dealer was arrested and had his phone seized on July 18, with Radley's number present in his device.
On August 9, Smith had his phone seized after being questioned by Queensland police on arrival to Gold Coast airport as they Rabbitohs flew in to play the Titans.
Earlier in the year, the planning of a golf trip to the Sunshine Coast was started by Smith and Radley, while the former still played at the Roosters.
In early May, Smith told Radley that he would not be coming on the trip, before Radley reached out in mid-May with the following text messages:
Radley to Smith (May 30): “G, tee-up your cousin in sunny coast for me; little short ball. Short eight-ball if you will.”
Smith: “Yeah, sweet, bro. I will give you the contract (he meant contact) when I get it.”
Radley: “Yoza. Not until next week, no rush.”
Radley to Smith (June 4): “Let us know, lad.”
Smith: “When are you going?”
Radley: “Tomorrow morning.”
Smith: “When do you want it?”
Radley to Smith (June 6): “Maybe Friday, G.”
Smith then sends a phone number of an alleged drug dealer to Radley.
Smith: “Just call him, that’s xxxxx from Goldie number. He’s got people in sunny coast he said to call him and he will give you number.”
Radley: “Copy, cheers lad.”
Further text messages between Smith, Radley and alleged drug dealers from the police statement of fact were also published by Code Sports.
