Canterbury winger Blake Wilson has confirmed he will leave the Bulldogs at the end of the season, with the 23-year-old poised to sign a two-year deal with Manly.
Wilson, one of three players at Belmore still without a contract for 2026, has slipped down the pecking order in recent months, losing his place to veterans Enari Tuala and Marcelo Montoya as well as rookie Jethro Rinakama, who starred in the finals after his NSW Under-19s call-up earlier this year.

Farewell message to fans
Taking to social media, Wilson thanked the club and its supporters for the past three seasons.
“Thankyou @nrl_bulldogs for the past 3 years what a ride, from my debut, the highs and lows I wouldn't change any of it!” he wrote. “Thankyou to everyone at the club for the support you have given me and all the supporters that turned up week in week out I can't put my appreciation into words Thankyou.

“Lastly, I couldn't of asked for a better group of mates love yas.”
Wilson managed just six first-grade appearances in 2025, a sharp contrast to the promise he showed after his debut. He had previously been linked with a move to Parramatta but is now expected to compete with Jason Saab, Reuben Garrick, Tom Trbojevic and others for a spot in Manly’s back-line.
