When and where is Super Bowl 2024? Date, location, early odds for Super Bowl 58 next year

Super Bowl 57 will feature two of the league's most dominant teams in the Chiefs and the Eagles.

With that game marking the end of the 2022 NFL season, that means it's time to look ahead to the 2024 Super Bowl.

The Bears have the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft as they continue their rebuild, while the Eagles will be picking 10th. The top of the NFC looks to be more volatile than the AFC heading into next season. The Chiefs, Bills and Bengals appear to stand alone in the AFC.

The Eagles' success this year has somewhat surprising with coach Nick Sirianni in just his second season leading Philadelphia. The Chiefs, meanwhile, expect to be here every year, with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes making their third Super Bowl appearance in four years.

Will they make it four in five next season and get to play at a division rival's house? Only time will tell, but for now, here's what to know about Super Bowl 58 in 2024.

When is Super Bowl 2024?

It will be CBS's turn to broadcast the Super Bowl in 2024. This will be the second year of the NFL's 11-year media contract, which determines which network broadcasts the Super Bowl. Fox, CBS and NBC will each air three Super Bowls during that span, while ABC holds the rights to the remaining two.

CBS's top duo of Jim Nantz and Tony Romo is expected to be on the call, with longtime sideline reporter Tracy Wolfson reporting from the sideline. Gene Steratore is likely to serve as the rules analyst.

Super Bowl 58 will be played on the second Sunday in February for the third consecutive season. From 2003 through 2021, it had been held on the first Sunday in February, but the NFL's pivot to a 17-game regular season necessitated a change.

Before 2003, all but one Super Bowl had taken place in January.

Where is Super Bowl 2024?

From February 2022 to February 2023, Las Vegas has hosted two Pro Bowls and the NFL Draft. The NFL world will once again descend upon Allegiant Stadium for Super Bowl 58.

The league gave the game to Allegiant Stadium and pushed New Orleans hosting the Super Bowl back by a year. It has not named a site for Super Bowl 60 in 2026.

The popularity of the NFL in Las Vegas is hardly surprising. The Raiders were a marquee franchise before their move from Oakland, and the league has gone all in on making Las Vegas a football destination.

Super Bowl 2024 odds

Super Bowl 58 is a long way away, but bettors will want to get some early wagers in to try to capitalize on value before free agency and the 2023 NFL Draft roll around.

As of early Feburary, the Chiefs are the favorites to hoist the Lombardi Trophy in 2024. The 49ers are behind them, with the presumption that they can figure out their quarterback situation. The Eagles made to the 2023 Super Bowl after being assigned +3300 preseason odds, if you're looking for sleepers.

Future Super Bowl locations, host sites

The locations of the next two Super Bowls are set. There was some intrigue surrounding the 2024 Super Bowl; New Orleans was supposed to host it, but the league moved that arrangement back a year.

The NFL then announced that Las Vegas and the Raiders would host Super Bowl 58 at Allegiant Stadium, which opened in 2020. It will be the first Super Bowl held in Las Vegas.

Super Bowl halftime show 2024

The Super Bowl halftime show for 2024 has not yet been announced. Typically, the NFL waits until the fall to announce halftime performers. The 2021 performer, The Weeknd, was announced in November 2020, while the five artists who performed in the 2022 halftime show were revealed in September of 2021. Rihanna, the performer in the 2023 show, was announced in September.

Super Bowl national anthem singer 2024

The national anthem singer for the Super Bowl is usually announced between two weeks and a month before the actual event. So, you'll need to wait about a calendar year to know that — unless the NFL changes its procedures.

Super Bowl 2024 tickets

It's impossible to know exactly how much Super Bowl 58 tickets will cost, but they won't be cheap. The least expensive tickets for Super Bowl 57 cost about $5,000, so it's safe to assume that the prices for a game in Vegas will be similar.
