The NFL season is officially under way with four Australians opening their campaigns in an action-packed Week One slate.
It's a time of optimism for every franchise as Super Bowl 59 is still within the set of plausible outcomes for all 32 teams.

Aussie NFL Wrap-up: Week One
Jordan Mailata - Philadelphia Eagles
Fresh off of becoming the first Australian to play in a winning Super Bowl side, Jordan Mailata was strong in a spiteful clash with their divisional rivals - the Dallas Cowboys.
The towering left tackle received an 86.4 overall Pro Football Focus (PFF) grade in the Eagles' 24-20 victory.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts was kept relatively clean as the Cowboys only recorded one sack on 23 drop backs.
Daniel Faalele - Baltimore Ravens
Faalele had mixed results in his side's heartbreaking defeat in Sunday Night Football against Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills.
The Ravens right guard recorded a 59.9 overall PFF grade as quarterback Lamar Jackson was forced to scramble out of the pocket on multiple occasions as he tried to avoid the Bills' rush - ultimately taking two sacks.
On a positive note, Faalele was a run-blocking force as he cleared the way for star back Derrick Henry to rush for 169 yards and two touchdowns.
Michael Dickson - Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks veteran was solid with the boot in his side's 17-13 defeat at home to the San Francisco 49ers.
Dickson had five punts for an average of 51.8 yards, landing two inside the 20. He also sent a torpedo flying for a long of 58 yards.
Tory Taylor - Chicago Bears
Taylor was inconsistent in his first start of the 2025 season, on six attempts he averaged just 44.3 yards and landed one punt inside the opposition 20.
His longest punt went for 56 yards which puts him right in the middle of the league for Week One. He's now tied for 15th place.
