Aussie NFL wrap-up: How did Jordan Mailata, Tory Taylor and more perform in Week 4? image

It was a strong weekend for Australians in the NFL, with four of five representatives playing key roles in their teams' victories.

From heated rivalries to standout individual efforts, Australia's top gridiron talent took centre stage in an action-packed slate of matchups.

Here's how every Australian player performed in Week 4.

Aussie NFL Week 4 Wrap-up

Jordan Mailata

Jordan Mailata delivered another strong performance in Week 4, protecting Jalen Hurts' blindside against the Buccaneers' aggressive pass rush.

His reliability on the left side of the line was crucial as the rest of the unit battled adversity - Lane Johnson and Tyler Steen's injuries both disrupted the Eagles offensive rhythm.

On the ground, Philadelphia struggled badly, managing only 88 yards on 32 carries while losing two costly fumbles on the afternoon.

Michael Dickson

Opportunities were limited again for Dickson in Week 4, with the Seahawks edging the Cardinals 23-20 in a tight divisional battle.

The Aussie punter finished with three punts for 147 yards, averaging 49 per attempt. His longest went 54 yards, though none landed inside the 20-yard line.

Daniel Faalele

Daniel Faalele held his own at right guard in Baltimore's loss, showing noticeable improvement from last week despite the Ravens' ongoing protection struggles.

The Chiefs blitzed relentlessly, exposing the Ravens' weakened line after Ronnie Stanley's early injury.

Still, Faalele limited mistakes and provided some stability inside against constant pressure. While Baltimore blocked more effectively in the run game, their pass-heavy script neutralised that progress.

Tory Taylor

Taylor had another steady outing in Chicago's 25-24 victory over the Raiders, called on three times to flip the field.

The second-year punter finished with 148 yards, at an average of 49.3, with a booming 62-yarder.

Jeremy Crawshaw

Crawshaw stayed consistent in Denver's dominant 28-3 win over Cincinnati, punting four times and continuing to showcase his impressive leg strength.

The rookie averaged 49.75 yards per attempt, with a long punt of 62 yards and one effort pinned inside the 20-yard line.
