Week 7 of the 2023 NFL season wraps up in Minneapolis, as "Monday Night Football" features the Vikings and the visiting 49ers.

San Francisco suffered its first blemish of the season last week, losing a stunner to the Browns in Cleveland. Injuries to star offensive weapons Deebo Samuel, Christian McCaffrey and Trent Williams hampered Brock Purdy and the offense, as the team failed to score 30 points for the first time this season, falling 19-17.

The 49ers might be playing shorthanded this week. The injuries to McCaffrey and Samuel aren't considered to be long-term, but the pair could miss the contest against the Vikings.

On the other side, Minnesota picked up its second win of the season last week, defeating Chicago 19-13 to improve to 2-4. In their first game without Justin Jefferson, the Vikings struggled in the passing game, as Kirk Cousins managed just 181 yards through the air. However, the defense forced three turnovers en route to the win over their NFC North foes.

Minnesota knows it will be without Jefferson this week, as he's on injured reserve with a hamstring ailment. The offense will need its supporting cast of Jordan Addison, T.J. Hockenson and K.J. Osborn to step up in his absence.
