'Will be Good': Giants WR Malik Nabers receives a positive injury update for Sunday image

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers suffered an injury in week three against the Kansas City Chiefs in the end zone when quarterback Russell Wilson threw a horrible pass. Nabers has been dealing with injuries since the offseason.

This is nothing new with the star wide receiver being on the injury report for this football team. The Giants will be facing the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday. What's the latest update with his availability?

New York Giants Wide Receiver Malik Nabers Will Be Good to go On Sunday

Dan Duggan of the Athletic was at Giants practice on Thursday. He reported about the latest injury with the star player and said,

"WR Malik Nabers (shoulder) and TE Theo Johnson (shoulder) were participating in the open portion of practice today. Daboll indicated Nabers will be good for Sunday.

DL Rakeem Nunez-Roches (foot) was on the side. RB Tyrone Tracy (shoulder), OLB Chauncey Golston (ankle) and K Graham Gano (groin) weren't spotted. LB Darius Muasau is progressing in the concussion protocol. On track to be cleared for Sunday."

There are a lot of injuries for this team, but it is good that Nabers will be able to play on Sunday. After having just two receptions for 13 yards receiving against the Chiefs, he will need to have the ball more in his hands.

With rookie Jaxson Dart starting this weekend, he will need to get the star wide receiver involved early and often. This season, Nabers has caught 16 passes for 251 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 15.7 yards per catch. He has been targeted 32 times.

If this team is going to shock the Chargers on Sunday, he must be the focal point of the offense. The Giants can't afford him being a non-factor for the second straight week. Nabers will be get frustrated again if he doesn't see the ball often.
