Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua took a big hit in the first half of Sunday's game against the Houston Texans, which forced him to leave the game.
The incident occurred as the first quarter was coming to an end, as Nacua was trying to fight for yardage on a play. However, Nacua paid a price as several Rams defenders converged on him while he was carrying the ball close to the ground.
It resulted in Nacua bleeding from the top of his head, as trainers needed to tend to the star wide receiver. Nacua went to the locker room while holding a towel to his head to stop the bleeding.

Puka Nacua injury update
According to the Rams, Nacua was evaluated with a concussion for the play, and was questionable to return. It is not a surprise as Nacua took several hits to the head on the play before, resulting in him bleeding from his head.
However, the team later said that Nacua cleared concussion protocol and returned to the game, avoiding a major injury with their top wide receiver. And of course, Nacua recorded a 20-yard catch immediately upon returning.
