Daniel Jones becomes a lot richer with every Colts victory image

Fans often toss the phrase “they’re literally paid to win,” but in quarterback Daniel Jones’ case with the Indianapolis Colts, it’s not just a cliché -- it’s written into his contract.

Jones, who signed a one-year, $14 million deal with Indianapolis in the offseason, earns an additional incentive every time he leads the team to victory. According to contract terms, he collects a bonus for each Colts win in which he plays at least 50% of the offensive snaps, collecting, $100,000 each win.

Through three victories, Jones has already earned $300,000, and his earnings could keep rising as the season unfolds.

The 27-year-old quarterback landed in Indianapolis after being released by the New York Giants in the summer. So far, his performance has stabilized the Colts’ offense and helped him cash in beyond his base salary. Jones also collects $50k weekly from the roster, so he's made roughly $450,000 from just incentives.

The Colts will take on the Rams this week at SoFi Stadium, looking to get off to a 4-0 start.
