Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft has been one of Jordan Love's top targets in the passing game through the first two weeks of the season. During Thursday's practice, Kraft injured his knee, and it didn't seem like it would be a major concern or a long-term issue.

The Packers will face the Cleveland Browns on the road on Sunday, and it will be the first road game for them this season. Green Bay has a 2-0 record and Cleveland has a 0-2 record. Will the tight end be available to play for them on Sunday or will he miss the game?

Green Bay Packers Tucker Kraft Has an Uncertain Status for Sunday

It appeared as if Kraft was going to be okay for this team. Well, ESPN's Adam Schefter did not report positive news about his playing status for this weekend. He said,

"Packers TE Tucker Kraft will not practice today. HC Matt LaFleur told reporters that he didn’t think Kraft needed to go on injured reserve but he also was uncertain about his status for Sunday’s game at Cleveland."

If Kraft is ruled out for Sunday's game against Cleveland, then Luke Musgrave will be the starting tight end. For the first two games of the 2025 season, he has caught eight passes for 140 yards receiving and two touchdowns, along with averaging 17.5 yards per reception. Kraft has also been targeted 11 times.

He has really emerged as the Packers number one tight end option when Musgrave missed most of the 2024 NFL season with an injury. This would be a huge loss for the Packers offense. The Browns have one of the best defenses in the NFL through the first two weeks of the season. With Kraft going from okay on Thursday to having his status unknown for this weekend, it is not good news.
