Texas will begin SEC play this week by traveling to Gainesville to face Florida. The Longhorns enter the matchup with a 3-1 record, their only loss occurring in Week 1 against Ohio State. Meanwhile, the Gators have a record of 1-3, with their sole victory also coming in the first week.

The Longhorns are 6.5-point favorites heading into the contest, and Fox Sports college football analyst Joel Klatt made his prediction for the contest.

"If they (Texas) score three touchdowns, Florida doesn’t really have a chance,” said Klatt, via Saturday Down South. “I get it, they’re at home, but that’s alright. South Florida went in there and won. Texas is going to cover the 6.5 (points). I’ve got them winning this game 21-12.”

Texas needs to ensure it walks out with a win this weekend, or its playoff hopes could take a huge hit.

Losing to Florida, which has struggled to score all season, would give Texas its second loss, and it still has to play Oklahoma and travel to Georgia this season.

The Longhorns should be able to take down the Gators this weekend, and hope that quarterback Arch Manning has a great game against one of the best defenses he will see all season.
