Have you seen a viral clip of Arch Manning and Eli Manning in a supposed social exchange floating around?

The viral “dinosaur tweet” allegedly posted by Texas quarterback Arch Manning is a fabrication, not an authentic statement from the high-profile athlete.

Eli Manning did not respond to it either.

Is Arch Manning's dinosaur tweet real?

Following Texas's loss to Ohio State, social media users widely circulated a screenshot that appeared to show Manning jokingly criticizing the media for not asking if he could draw a dinosaur.

However, a review of Manning’s verified social media accounts and major sports news outlets found that the post does not exist and was never issued by Manning himself. Neither was an alleged comment from his uncle, Eli Manning.

The widely shared image originated from meme accounts and fan pages seeking to capitalize on the attention around Manning’s high-profile performance at Texas. These parody posts are part of a growing trend where viral pranks and altered screenshots are mistaken for actual statements from public figures.

Here's one of the accounts that shared the image, which has over 25,000 likes on Instagram:

Manning has not publicly commented on the Ohio State loss on social media, only commenting to the media following the loss in Columbus.

“Ultimately, not good enough,” Manning said after the game. “Obviously, you don’t want to start off the season 0-1. They’re a good team. I thought we beat ourselves a lot, and that starts with me. I’ve got to play better for us to win.”

Manning and Texas will be back in the spotlight on Saturday when the Longhorns face San Jose State.
