Aaron Anderson is having a stellar night for LSU, standing at 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 188 pounds. He might just be one of the shortest wide receivers to touch the turf in Death Valley – but he sure is mighty tonight. Who is he?

Who is Aaron Anderson?

  • Height: 5'8" (173 cm).
  • Weight: 188 lbs (85 kg).
  • Position: Wide Receiver.
  • Class: Redshirt Junior.
  • Hometown: Algiers, Louisiana.

His strong performance for LSU against Clemson, recording six receptions for 99 yards and an impressive average of 16.5 yards per catch, with a long reception of 39 yards, while he didn’t directly lead to any touchdowns, his contributions helped LSU keep pace with Clemson throughout the game. Anderson, a New Orleans native, joined LSU after transferring from Alabama following a decorated high school career at Edna Karr. He now ranks among the team’s most reliable receiving threats.

“He’s a playmaker,” LSU Head Coach Kelly said. “As you know last year we struggled with big plays at times. To have a Barion Brown, Nic Anderson, Kyle Parker healthy, Zavion Thomas and Chris back, I mean that’s a big add compared to where we were last year with really just Aaron making them.”
