Australian Boomers drawn alongside Nigeria, Italy and Germany in Group B for Tokyo Olympics image

The Australian Boomers' have their first opponents for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics, following the announcement of the groups.

The Boomers been drawn in Group B alongside Italy, Germany and Nigeria, with their quest for a first medal at an major interational tournament getting underway on July 25.

The Aussies announced a star-studded lineup for the games, featuring seven NBA players, led by stalwarts Patty Mills and Joe Ingles, who will be competing in their fourth Olympic Games.

Patty Mills, Matthew Dellavedova, Joe Ingles, Aron Baynes, Matisse Thybulle, Danté Exum, Josh Green, Nick Kay, Jock Landale, Chris Goulding, Duop Reath, Nathan Sobey.

Replacement players: Josh Giddey, Xavier Cooks, Brock Motum.

Before taking off to Tokyo, the Boomers will play three exhibition games in Las Vegas from July 11-14 against Argentina, the United States and Nigeria.
