It didn't look good.

Anthony Edwards rose up in the paint to try and lay the ball in. As he came down, the Minnesota Timberwolves' superstar had his left ankle extended a bit behind him.

That's where Warriors center Trayce Jackson-Davis landed, right on Edwards' ankle, stepping down a bit and rolling it in the process.

Edwards laid on the ground in pain, grabbing at his ankle and screaming a bit.

The Timberwolves announced about 10 minutes after the injury that Edwards is officially questionable to return with a left ankle sprain. It did then appear like he'd start the third quarter.

The Timberwolves got off to a blistering start against Golden State, leading the game 13-0 at one point.

The Warriors are playing without their own superstar, Stephen Curry, after a Game 1 hamstring injury.

Golden State somehow won Game 1 anyway even after Curry exited in the second quarter.

Now, the Timberwolves will try and return the favor.
