The news isn't great for the Warriors and Stephen Curry.

Golden State did come through in one way, winning Game 1 vs. the Timberwolves despite Curry exiting in the second quarter with a left hamstring injury and not returning.

But Curry's status going forward is officially in question.

Head coach Steve Kerr spoke to reporters Tuesday night after the game and shared some updates.

"He's obviously crushed," Kerr began his comments.

Kerr then said they don't expect to have Curry for Game 2 on Thursday: “We’re definitely game planning for him to not be available Thursday. We don’t know yet."

Kerr added that the Warriors "have to talk about" getting scoring when Curry isn't on the floor. Curry is getting an MRI on Wednesday.

Draymond Green added in his postgame comments that Curry initially told him "I'll be back" when he left the floor.

All in all, definitely a bit of concern for Steph.

He's never dealt with a reported hamstring injury in his NBA career before, either.

Minnesota couldn't take advantage in Game 1, but could get another huge opportunity Thursday night. Golden State will just have to figure things out all over again.
