NRL Injury List 2021: Every club's casualty ward image

What would be a grand final week without some injury drama to dominate the headlines?

Going into this week's big decider, both South Sydney and Penrith will be sweating on the fitness of some big names, headlined by Adam Reynolds and Tevita Pangai Junior.

BRISBANE BRONCOS

Payne Haas (ankle) left the field on a medicab in round 25 and, after scans on Tuesday, will have syndesmosis surgery.


Jake Turpin will have surgery on his broken jaw but is expected to return in time for pre-season training in December.

Tyson Gamble (hand) has undergone surgery and will miss the remainder of the season. 

Keenan Palasia (shoulder) and Xavier Willison (knee) have both been ruled out for the remainder of the season. 

Kotoni Staggs (knee) has suffered a high-grade MCL injury and will miss the remainder of the season.

Patrick Carrigan (knee) will miss the rest of the season after suffering an ACL injury against the Cowboys. John Asiata (neck) also won't be back this year.

Ramond Faitala-Mariner (foot) was nearing a return from an extended absence, but has now been ruled out for the remainder of the season.

Nick Cotric (toe) is also set to miss the remainder of the season.

CRONULLA SHARKS

Ronaldo Mulitalo (jaw) suffered a fractured jaw in Cronulla's big win over the Tigers in round 23 and won't be back this year. 

Andrew Fifita (throat) was rushed to hospital after the round 22 loss to Newcastle with a serious laryngeal injury that caused him breathing problems. 

Shaun Johnson (hamstring) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, ending his tenure at the club. 

Wade Graham (concussion) remains sidelined.

Taniela Paseka (ankle) suffered an injury against Melbourne and will miss the next 2-3 weeks. 

Morgan Boyle (shoulder) and Andrew Davey (knee) both suffered serious injuries early in the season and will return in 2022.

Clint Gutherson (leg) left the field during the win over Melbourne, but appeared in good spirits after the game. 

Maika Sivo (knee) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, with scans confirming an ACL rupture.  

Reed Mahoney (shoulder) has suffered another injury in the loss to South Sydney , with the Eels hooker to undergo surgry and miss the remainder of 2021. 

Reagan Campbell-Gillard (groin) was taken off early in the clash with the Roosters, and won't be back until the finals.

Ryan Matterson (suspension) will miss the remainder of the regular season after a high shot on Brad Parker.

Adam Reynolds (groin) battled through the prelim final, but coach Wayne Bennett said he will be 'good to go' for the decider. 

Josh Mansour (knee) will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an MCL injury against Penrith.

SYDNEY ROOSTERS

The Roosters will sweat on scans for Sio Siua Taukeaiho (leg) and Victor Radley (shoulder) after the pair sustained injuries in the elimination final win over the Titans.

Joseph Manu (facial fracture) appears unlikely to play again in 2021, after he underwent facial reconstruction. 

Angus Crichton (suspension) will miss three games after being charged for a crusher tackle. 

Josh Morris (hamstring) was taken off during the clash with Parrramatta and will miss 4-6 weeks. 

Billy Smith (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season, after he suffered a lis franc injury against Newcastle. Matt Ikuvalu (ankle) will undergo surgery for a syndesmosis injury, but will remain in the Roosters' bubble.

Young gun Joseph Suaalii (foot) has been ruled out for the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery. 

Lindsay Collins (knee) sustained an ACL injury in the Roosters' win over the Knights, and will miss the remainder of the season. 

Luke Keary (knee) will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL injury in the round 3 loss to the Rabbitohs.

Boyd Cordner, Brett Morris and Jake Friend have all retired.

WESTS TIGERS 

Adam Doueihi (knee) will miss the final two games of the season after suffering a partial ACL tear.

Daine Laurie (leg) suffered a fracture early in the game against the Warriors and will miss the remainder of the season. 

Luke Garner (ankle) suffered a syndesmosis injury, while Alex Seyfarth (knee) suffered a high-grade MCL injury, with both players set to be sidelined indefinitely. 

Asu Kepaoa (knee) will miss the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL injury.
