UFC Perth full card results: Carlos Ulberg destroys Dominick Reyes in main event, eyes title fight next image

Carlos Ulberg underlined his status as a legitimate title contender, dispatching Dominick Reyes with a devastating first-round knockout in Perth.

The Kiwi seized control from the outset, patiently measuring range before detonating a crisp one-two that instantly ended the contest.

For Reyes, it was a crushing blow, halting the momentum of a three-fight stoppage streak and derailing his bid to re-enter title contention.

Ulberg's ninth straight win highlighted his precision and stoppage power, placing him firmly in the championship conversation.

With a title shot looming, Ulberg now heads to Las Vegas, where he'll be cage side for Magomed Ankalaev versus Alex Pereira II.

In the co-main event, Jimmy Crute thrilled the home crowd with a dominant first-round submission over Ivan Erslan.

The Australian secured an early double-leg takedown, transitioned seamlessly to the back, and locked in a rear-naked choke for the tap.

It was a commanding display from Crute, who has now put back-to-back wins together for the first time since 2020.

Earlier in the night, Jack Jenkins showcased his grit and wrestling to grind out a unanimous decision win over Ramon Taveres.

Elsewhere, Neil Magny stunned Australia's Jake Matthews with a late D'Arce choke, while Tom Nolan extended his streak with a slick first-round finish of Charlie Campbell.
