The Milwaukee Brewers and the Texas Rangers was scoreless in the bottom of the fifth inning until the bases were loaded for Michael Helman. Helman hit a grand slam in the fifth and it eventually led to the Rangers defeating the Brewers 5-0.

It was a big win for Texas and Helman carried the team on his back. He drove in all five runs for the Rangers in this game. With the win for Texas, they are still able to keep pace with the Seattle Mariners in the American League wild card race for now.

This season for Texas, he has only played in 21 games. Helman is 29 years old and has a .245 batting average with four home runs and 15 RBIs, and three stolen bases. His on-base percentage is .315. Maybe the 29-year-old has found himself a role with the Rangers not only for the remainder of the 2025 season but maybe for the 2026 MLB season as well.
The Rangers have also been dealing with various in 2025. Despite the injuries, Texas is not giving up and still in the playoff chase. There is a reason why Rangers fans got excited for Helman hitting a grand slam in the game against the Brewers on Monday night.
