The Los Angeles Dodgers dropped the first game of the series against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Tuesday night on the road. Well, the Dodgers did not look any better on Wednesday night against Pittsburgh and lost by a final score of 3-0.
With the loss, Los Angeles dropped to 78-61 on the season and Pittsburgh improved to 63-77 on the season. Even with the Dodgers struggles, they still lead the San Diego Padres by 2.5 games for first place in the National League West. Although Los Angeles is still in first place in the division, there are many fans who are concerned about the team. They are just 5-5 in there last 10 games played.

Dodgers fans were expecting the team to take care of business on the road against the Pirates, but that has not turned out to be the case. Los Angeles fans are worried about the team moving forward, especially with the postseason right around the corner.

It would not be a Dodgers baseball season without the fanbase calling the team to fire Roberts, even though he has won two World Series with this franchise as the manager. They have not been the same team in 2025 like they were in 2024 when they won it all. The Dodgers will look to avoid the sweep against the Pirates on Thursday night, but they will have to try and solve starting pitcher Paul Skenes.
