Sep 21, 2025; Los Angeles, California, USA; Los Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy (13) is greeted in the dugout after scoring a run during the seventh inning against the San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers are gearing up for a crucial Wild Card Series against the Cincinnati Reds, and one of their season difference makers revealed on Monday that he will be ready for Game One, scheduled for Tuesday.

All-Star third baseman Max Muncy told the media at the NL Wild Card Workout Day that he should be fully ready to be in the lineup for Game One against the Reds as the Dodgers begin their tough stretch in defending their World Series Title.

"Everything feels good. I'll be available for tomorrow," Muncy said on Monday.

Muncy missed the last four games of the season due to dealing with leg bruising along his legs and other undisclosed factors, but as Muncy announced, he should be healthy enough to be in the NL Wild Card roster for Los Angeles.

The Dodgers' third baseman has had an injury-fueled season in 2025, but one thing is for certain: Muncy has been a main benefactor of the successful stretches the Dodgers have experienced this season, and his absence was surely felt as the Dodgers were limping towards the playoffs.

If Muncy can remain healthy and tick up the production at the plate, he could be an extra hitter the Dodgers could lean into when they need a clutch hit. Defensively, Muncy has been a godsend at third, so having him back as the solidified third baseman has eased a few pounds of stress off the Dodgers' front office shoulders.
