Penrith boss Phil Gould has quit Twitter – again – after mistakenly tweeting a message seemingly referring to the Roosters’ failed bid to snare Mitchell Moses.

The league guru must have thought he was using Twitter’s direct message to tell an associate: “Nick rang today…They tried for two weeks to sign Mitchell Moses. At 11th Isaac Moses reneged saying he would leave him at Tigers to grow.”
It’s assumed ‘Nick’ is Roosters chairman Nick Politis, while Isaac Moses is a well-known player agent.
Young guns Mitchell Moses and Luke Brooks this week decided to take up a clause to remain at the Wests Tigers.
Gould quickly deleted the tweet and then shut down his account, possibly for good.
The Panthers chief has had a hate-love affair with social media over the years, quitting several times and blocking followers before re-appearing at a later date.
