The 2022 Randwick Guineas will take place on Saturday March 5th at Royal Randwick, with some of the country's best horses set to feature in the Group 1 race.
The three-year-old race will be ran over 1600m, with the prizemoney totalling at $1 million. Last year, Lion's Roar took out the race from Mo'unga and Harmony Rose.
Also on the card will be the G1 Canterbury Stakes, which is worth $600,000 in prizemoney.
Guineas Day marks the final day before the Sydney Autumn Racing Carnival.

WHEN IS RANDWICK GUINEAS DAY 2022?
Randwick Guineas Day is on Saturday March 5th at Royal Randwick.
The event will be headlined by the G1 Randwick Guineas, and also includes the G1 Canterbury Stakes and a host of other group-level races.
WHAT IS THE RANDWICK GUINEAS?
Randwick Guineas is a three-year-old set weights race, ran over 1600m at Royal Randwick.
It is the first leg of the 'three-year-old triple crown', which also includes the Rosehill Guineas and Australian Derby.
RANDWICK GUINEAS PRIZEMONEY
With total prizemoney of $1 million, there is plenty up for grabs for connections of these talented three-year-olds.
The winners will collect a cool $580,000, but there is a big gap down to $190,000 for second place from there.

As well as the headline event, Randwick Guineas Day will also provide the G1 Canterbury Stakes, which is worth $600,000 in total prizemoney.
