Superstar Australian DJ FISHER is set to bring the party to Flemington on the final day of the four-day Melbourne Cup Carnival, closing out this year’s festivities with a headline performance.

The Gold Coast surfer-turned-global sensation is confirmed to perform in the new Elms precinct on TAB Champions Stakes Day, Saturday, November 8.

For the very first time, the area beyond the Winning Post at the Victoria Racing Club will open after the final race, allowing even more racegoers to step onto the track and party alongside FISHER.

Swapping the beach life for international stages, the DJ—who has headlined Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Out2Lunch—is set to play fan favourites including Losing It, Atmosphere, and Take It Off.

Returning home after his summer residency at one of Ibiza’s most iconic clubs, FISHER shared his excitement to be back on Australian soil and perform for the first time at the Melbourne Cup Carnival.

“Melbourne, I’m so excited to come to party with you all at the Melbourne Cup Carnival.  Giddy up.” FISHER said.

FISHER will headline the final day at Flemington Racecourse, capping off a week of live performances that includes UK sensation Craig David on Crown Oaks Day and Australian icons PNAU on Lexus Melbourne Cup Day.

The VRC has confirmed that more entertainment acts will be announced to join this star-studded line-up in the coming weeks.

The announcement of the iconic Australian DJ headlining the event comes hot on the heels of FISHER securing the #7 spot on the latest Top 100 DJs list, just behind global superstars like David Guetta, Martin Garrix, and Armin van Buuren

The Melbourne Cup Carnival starts with Derby Day on Saturday, November 1, rolls into Melbourne Cup Day on Tuesday, November 4, continues with Oaks Day on Thursday, November 6, and concludes with Champions Stakes Day on Saturday, November 8.
