Tottenham Hotspur ended the summer market with high-profile additions but also attempted one bold late move that did not materialize.
According to Teamtalk, the club made contact with PSG regarding midfielder Senny Mayulu, a 19-year-old who has already shown signs of becoming a central figure for the French champions.
Mayulu is no stranger to big stages as he scored in last season’s Champions League final against Inter Milan, a match remembered for PSG’s emphatic 5-0 victory.
He has now collected 44 senior appearances and produced seven goals and four assists.
Last season alone he contributed six goals and three assists in 34 outings, numbers that impressed several scouts across Europe.

PSG have reportedly made it clear they will not entertain any departure while the teenager still has two years remaining on his contract and the club considers him vital for their long-term project.

Tottenham’s late inquiry reportedly was seen as a way to establish a connection, understanding that situations around young stars often shift over time.
Chelsea and Manchester City are also monitoring Mayulu, adding further weight to the belief that he represents one of the brightest names in French football’s next generation.
Under manager Thomas Frank the North London Club has shown propensity to track young stars and Mayulu’s case shows they remain attentive to opportunities that could strengthen them further ahead.
