The Blues are sitting 10th in the Premier League table, and could use an overseas refresh as they visit the German side.
Dortmund, meanwhile, present a difficult challenge on recent form, having won all six of their matches since the return of play following the World Cup. Jude Bellingham has been sensational in midfield, returning from World Cup action with England and bringing his stellar form with him.
Shockingly, these two European giants have never faced off, playing against one another for the first time on Wednesday.

Chelsea may have never faced Borussia Dortmund in club history, but Blues boss Graham Potter will be quite familiar with the opponent.
