The Sporting News provides all the information you need about how and where to watch the semifinal first leg.

West Ham vs AZ Alkmaar lineups

David Moyes is likely to stick with the 4-2-3-1 formation after securing a 1-0 win over Manchester United while using that shape.

Like Moyes, Pascal Jansen can often switch between a 4-3-3 and 4-2-3-1 depending on the situation in the match.

Below are the predicted starting lineups for both teams ahead of their Europa Conference League match at London Stadium.

West Ham predicted starting 11

(4-2-3-1, right to left): Areola (GK) — Kehrer, Ogbonna, Aguerd, Cresswell — Soucek, Rice — Bowen, Paqueta, Benrahma — Antonio

  • Injured: Coufal, Scamacca, Zouma
  • Suspended: None

Vladimir Coufal will miss out for West Ham after picking up a thigh injury, while central defender Kurt Zouma is sidelined with an ankle problem.

Michail Antonio is likely to lead the line again as Gianluca Scamacca is out with a knee injury. Alphonse Areola is set to return to the lineup as he has in Europe this season.

AZ Alkmaar predicted starting 11

(4-3-3): Ryan (GK) — Sugawara, Beukema, Chatzidiakos, Kerkez — Clasie, Mijnans, Reijnders — Odgaard, Pavlidis, Van Brederode

  • Injured: Karlsson (doubt), Martins Indi (doubt), Westerveld (doubt)
  • Suspended: Kerkez

Milos Kerkez is the only Alkmaar player who will certainly miss the first leg of this semifinal as he is suspended due to an accumulation of yellow cards.

Jesper Karlsson, Bruno Martins Indi, and Sem Westerveld could all return from their respective injuries to play a role in this fixture.
