Socceroos kings of 2025: Australia are world no.1 after stunning year image

The Socceroos are kings of 2025 so far - currently being one of only two teams to win every game across the year.

Ahead of Wednesday's (AEDT) friendly against the USA in Colorado, Australia will be aiming for their eighth consecutive victory in 2025.

Norway - led by Man City star Erling Haaland - are the only other country to not lose a match in 2025 - of nations to play five or more games.

It's been a hugely successful year for Tony Popovic's side, clinching direct World Cup 2026 qualification in June and winning all seven matches - four World Cup qualifiers and three friendlies.
