Christian Pulisic has completed his transfer move from Chelsea to Serie A side AC Milan as the former Borussia Dortmund star aims for a fresh start in Italy.
Pulisic had seen his role decline at Stamford Bridge across the last 12 months, with injuries and a dip in form contributing to just eight Premier League starts in the 2022/23 season, with one goal scored.
The USA international was acquired by the Rossoneri in a $28m (£21.3m) transfer move away from Chelsea.
Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino is continuing his policy of selling players who do not fit his vision at the club with Pulisic hoping the change can reignite his career.
The Sporting News looks at the new jersey number that Pulisic will be wearing at AC Milan starting in 2023/24.

The speculation over which number he will wear in Milan started early. Before his move was made official, there were multiple reports claiming he was taking over Zlatan Ibrahimovic's No.11.

The No.11 became vacant, following Ibrahimovic's retirement from football in June and in its official announcement the club confirmed that Pulisic selected it as part of his arrival in Milan.
Pulisic has worn No.10 during the majority of his time at Chelsea, but Rafael Leao is the current occupier of that shirt in Milan, with 3, 6, 13, 14 and 15 also available, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek replaces Sandro Tonali as No.8.
In addition to Ibrahimovic, Pulisic will also be donning the number worn by club icons including Carlo Ancelotti, Dejan Savicevic, Roberto Donadoni and Rivaldo.

Pulisic was originally given the No. 22 shirt after joining Chelsea in 2019, before taking over No. 10 after Willian's departure the following summer, and he retained the number for the following three seasons.
His four years in the Dortmund first team saw him also wear No. 22
