Past friendly results

Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Australia was no stranger to hosting a whole range of international friendlies.

In 2019, Manchester United travelled to Western Australia where they beat Perth Glory 2-0 and Leeds United 4-0.

One particularly memorable friendly match in 2013 saw 95,000 turn out to see Liverpool defeat Melbourne Victory 2-0 with a pre-match rendition of 'You'll Never Walk Alone' stealing the show.
