Antonio Conte Champions League record: Has Tottenham manager ever won a European title? image

Antonio Conte has established himself as one of the most successful managers over the past decade.

Winning league titles with Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan, the Italian coach knows what it takes to build a team capable of winning trophies.

Currently in charge of a Tottenham side struggling with a title drought, Conte's Spurs were dumped out of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League to AC Milan, losing 1-0 on aggregate.

Unfortunately for Spurs, their manager has historically struggled to carve out success in Europe's toughest competition.

Has Conte ever won the Champions League?

Despite achieving plenty of domestic league success, Conte is yet to win a Champions League trophy or any continental title as a manager.

The Italian has in fact never even come close to silverware in the Champions League with his best campaign coming in 2012/13 with Juventus when they reached the quarterfinals.

Notably, Conte did win the Champions League once as a player with Juventus in 1995/96. He started the final against Ajax, but lasted only 44 minutes with his side eventually triumphing via a penalty shootout.

Conte oversaw his first Champions League game as a manager in 2012 with Juventus when they drew 2-2 with Chelsea.

Overall, the Italian has won more games than he's lost as a coach in the Champions League but not by much.

Conte has now led his team to the Champions League knockout rounds in three of his six career tournaments as a manager.

While his 2022/23 knockout came to an end at the last-16 stage by AC Milan, his previous deepest runs as a coach were ended by Barcelona (2017/18) and Bayern Munich (2012/13).
