It's official! Australia will face India in the final of the 2023 Cricket World Cup. The two cricketing powerhouses will lock horns for World Cup glory in Ahmedabad.

The final will be a replay of the 2003 World Cup final, where the Aussies blew India away in Johannesburg.

Australia, despite losing the first two matches of the tournament, have gone on an eight-game winning run and reached the final of the World Cup. On Thursday night, they outplayed South Africa on a difficult wicket at Eden Gardens in the semifinal.

Batting first, South Africa were bundled out for a below-par total of 212 despite David Miller's heroic century (101). Mitchell Starc and Pat Cummins picked three wickets each. Josh Hazlewood and Travis Head bagged two scalps for themselves too.
