St Kilda fans stressing about the team's lavish spending new players should 'let everyone else worry', according to AFL legend Garry Lyon.

The Saints have already had two free agents commit to signing with the club in Carlton duo Tom De Koning and Jack Silvagni.

De Koning is speculated to be on a salary of around $1.7 million-a-season over eight years, while Silvagni is reported be on $800,000 annually across five seasons.

These rumoured salaries are in addition to the $2 million, two-year contract recently signed by St Kilda superstar Nasiah Wanganeen-Milera.

With the Saints also linked with West Coast forward Liam Ryan and GWS defender Leek Aleer, there has been speculation the club is irresponsibly spending money.

However, Lyon believes all the possible additions to St Kilda's team make a significant improvement, which should be a positive for the club's fans.

"Here’s my advice ... if you’re a St Kilda supporter, let everyone else worry about the dollars," Lyon said on Fox Footy.

"Don’t go getting caught up in the minutia of ‘is he worth (X amount of money)’ ... if you’re a St Kilda fan, just worry about the side that’s going to be put out there next year.

"Does Jack make you better? I think he does ... does De Koning make you better? He does. Would Liam Ryan? Probably he does. And would Leek Aleer? Probably does.

"So, you should be rapt."
